About the Author:
I spent most of my life in Colorado enjoying the summers and cursing the winters. I now have the great fortune of living near the Gulf of Mexico in Florida where the climate is much more suited to my taste. I write my books on a laptop perched atop a rather creaky desk, surrounded by two crazy, but loving, cats. I love to travel and have visited 31 of the 50 states, as well as Canada, Ireland and England.

I spent many years in the gray dullness of the corporate world, imagining exciting adventures as I punched numbers on a keyboard. During that time, I worked on a degree in English Literature and created fantasy worlds in my head. It was my love of reading and stories that led me to take up writing full time.

When I’m not reading and writing I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, exercising, working on my very inadequate French, playing piano, relaxing with a glass of red wine, or looking for inspiring landscapes to photograph.
